Scope
Microsoft Desktop Software and Server Licenses purchased under the Campus Agreement and Academic Select Agreement/Enrollments.
Description
The Dell|ASAP Agreement serves the following purposes:
- The system wide Microsoft Campus Agreement is purchased by the Chancellor's Office for all campuses and auxiliaries. The Campus Agreement licenses, for all faculty and staff, includes a suite of desktop and operating system software products.
- The system wide Microsoft Academic Select Agreement product licensing and media is available to CSU campuses and auxiliaries at a competitively bid and predetermined markup.
- The system wide Microsoft Student Select Agreement product licensing is made available to campuses to resell to students at a predetermined markup.
- Other software products, such as Adobe, McAfee, and Symantec, can be purchased through the Dell|ASAP Software Agreement at competitive and predetermined markups. Other software includes software titles where licensing costs have been negotiated by the CSU Chancellor's office or where Dell|ASAP Software has negotiated licensing costs of behalf of their customers. Other software products also include off-the-shelf boxed products and various academic software titles. Dell|ASAP Software makes available all software products within their inventory.
