Scope

Master Enabling Agreement for Packaging, Transportation and Disposal of Hazardous Waste.

Description

This Master Enabling Agreement (MEA) sets forth the pricing, terms and conditions governing the handling, packaging, transportation and disposal of hazardous wastes for participating campuses of the California State University and/or affiliated agencies. Each participating campus or affiliated agency shall issue a separate participation agreement which will reference the Master Enabling Agreement number and incorporate by reference all of the terms and conditions contained herein. CSU campuses shall have sixty days from the execution date of this MEA to elect to participate in the MEA and execute the participation agreement. Campuses with existing agreements may elect to participate within sixty days following expiration of the existing agreement. Any campus may also elect participate at the beginning (July 1) of any fiscal year during the contract term.

Amendment 1 provides for a 3.5% increase to the pricing shown in Exhibits B-1 and B-2 and a 5% fuel surcharge on total invoice cost. Amendment 2 reduces the CPI Inflationary surcharge and the fuel cost surcharge by 1% during 2009-10 extension term.
